Pop-A-Lock has an immediate opening for a Locksmith in East St.Tammany Parish, LA. If you are not currently a licensed Louisiana locksmith training is available for the right individual! Because this is an on-call position and response time matters it is important that you live in East St. Tammany Parish (Slidell). You would be working from home so any time between calls is your own.

This is a great position for someone that doesn't like a 9-5 type of work environment and having to report to the same location every day for work. If you aren't licensed currently you'd start as a roadside assistance tech until you acquired your license. Advancement to locksmith position is possible for technicians with the right attitude, aptitude, and work ethic. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Automotive Key Making & Programming
• Residential / Commercial Lock Servicing and Re-keying
• Lock Picking

Requirements:

• Louisiana Locksmith Licensed
  • Help available for the right non-licensed individual
• You must live in the area served (St.Tammany Parish)
• Have a clean criminal record
• Have a valid Louisiana driver's license with a good driving record 
• Have basic computer skills with access to a computer
• Able to pass random drug tests
• 24 hours on-call during days you work
• Reliable and insured vehicle
• A good work ethic
• Willing to work some weekends

This is a full-time on-call position that is workload-based with an average annual salary ranging from $35,000 to $55,000. This is a great opportunity for someone not looking to be tied to one location all day long.
